Human Edge raises $1.5 million
Human benefita company specializing in longevity sciences, raised $1.5 million in new equity financings. The investment was led by Bharat Innovation Fundin the same way main angels and Force Venturesand a number of strategic angel investors from Singapore, the United States and India.
Founded by Dr Marcus Ranney In late 2020, Human Edge addresses longevity by improving lifespan using science, deep data, and technology-enabled lifestyle interventions. The company is building a proprietary platform to allow its users to engage in daily “biohacks” – small, actionable, lifestyle-based modifications that focus on optimizing energy levels of a person to achieve a specific health outcome.
“At Human Edge, we chose to focus on energy because each of us would like to optimize our energy level every day to achieve the goals we set for ourselves,” says Dr. Marcus Ranney, Founder and CEO of Human edge.
MyMuse raises Rs 9.5 Cr in seed funding
Direct-to-consumer (D2C) start for sexual wellness and bedroom essentialsraised a round of 9.5 crore rupees ($1.2 million).
The tour was led by Capital Samaand saw participation from MyMuse pre-seed investors, VC Sauce and Whiteboard Capital. Around 12 prominent angels also joined the capitalization table during the two funding rounds, including Mohit and Malika Sadaani (The Mom’s Co.), and Varun Sadana (Supertails, Licious).
The brand plans to use these funds to grow its team, introduce an innovative product line, strengthen brand positioning and expand distribution.
Launched by a husband-wife duo, Sahil and Anushka Gupta in 2021, MyMuse is India’s first gender-neutral brand dedicated to sexual wellness.
Algomage Raises $850,000 in Pre-Seed Funding
Mumbai-based AI post-production startup Algomage received $850,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by The DotIn network—a closed network of investors for renowned family offices and angel investors.
Founded in 2021 to innovate post-production for digital photography across the globe by Founder and CEO Anand RathiAlgomage was designed by photographers as the world’s first full-featured artificial intelligence (AI) post-production suite capable of transforming raw images into exceptional images in near real-time.
Algomage will deploy the funds to introduce new tools to its AI post-production suite and expand to overseas markets.
Commenting on the conclusion of its pre-seed funding round, Anand said, “With the recently concluded pre-seed funding round, our focus now will be on unlocking new tools, while expanding our customer base into markets beyond beyond India.
Bored Beverages raises over Rs 2.5 Cr in the starting round
Beverage brand bored drinks raised more than Rs 2.5 billionor near $314,500in a funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures.
It also had the participation of private investors Bhawana Bhatnagar (Founder, WeFounder Circle), Sumya Kant (founder, Clovia), as well as Point in the network. Prabhtej Singh Bhatiafounder of Simba Beer, will join the adventure of building Bored Beverages as a strategic investor and mentor.
Funds raised will be used for expanding the team and scaling up sales and marketing operations, and will also be used to establish a well-defined distribution channel and build the brand in the market.
Vinayak Malhotra and Anant Gupta founded Bored Beverages in 2020. Bored Beverages is building a cross-category portfolio of alcoholic beverages for Millennials and Gen Z by offering new brands with different flavors and different alcohol percentages, using a variety of traditional and non-traditional ingredients.
Vinayak said, “The seed funding will play a pivotal role in realizing Bored Beverages’ vision of breaking the monotony of traditional alcohol in the Indian market. IPV has recognized our role in the alco-bev industry and we are pleased that they have partnered with us.
Perpetuity Capital lending platform raises Rs 1 Cr
Kolkata-based asset-backed lending startup Perpetual capital up monday Rs 1 crore in venture capital debt of Sungrace Finvest.
Perpetuity Capital is the online platform for Oracle Marketing (P) Ltd, which is an NBFC (non-bank financial company) registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The company was co-founded by Karmveer S Dhillon in 2017. Perpetuity Capital enables electric vehicle and asset ownership for sole proprietorships, drivers and underserved automotive entrepreneurs.
Karamveer Dhillon, Co-Founder and CEO of Perpetuity Capital, said, “We are investing more in our technology to enable our clients to track their assets using our mobile app. Additionally, we are seeking to fund this green revolution that is taking place in India.”
