Recently, several Huawei MatePad 11 users reported on the forum that Huawei released a new beta update with firmware version 184.108.40.206. However, the MatePad 11 beta is rolling in the Chinese market.
According to the information, the Huawei MatePad 11 220.127.116.11 beta update contains a firmware size of 766 megabytes. After installing this update, the corresponding device owners reveal that it brings multi-device communication sharing feature.
The multi-device communication function can use the communication capabilities of nearby devices connected with the same Huawei ID, such as accessing the Internet, making calls, sending and receiving messages.
In addition to that, the switch buttons include multi-device communication sharing, network sharing, phone sharing, and information sharing. Additionally, MatePad 11 beta testers mentioned that MatePad 11 can share its capabilities with Nova 9 series smartphones and access all communication features.
After upgrading, log in to the same Huawei ID on multiple devices, and to connect them, turn on WiFi and Bluetooth. Note, WiFi does not need to connect to the network.
How to update:
To get the latest beta update, open your phone’s settings, tap system and updates, then software updates. From there, tap CHECK UPDATE and wait for the phone to fetch the latest update. Once the appears, tap on the download and install option.
