EMUI 12 has so far been installed on devices like Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Mate 30 Pro, P40 Lite and P40 Lite 5G devices in the global market. On top of that, the Chinese tech maker is currently rolling out EMUI 12 software update for Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series with Nova 5T.

Meanwhile, Huawei is also testing EMUI 12 on budget devices like P30 Lite, P smart 2021, Y9 Prime 2019, etc. You should know that the corresponding update is released in batches and you can get this software update accordingly.

However, older devices including Huawei Mate 10 and P20 series are also in the campaign to join and test EMUI 12 software through the beta program and global consumers are ready and regular to get a place in EMUI 12 beta testing. Overall, Huawei is trying to install EMUI 12 on as many Huawei devices as possible.

Also, the notification is now swiped to the left side of the screen which you can access by swiping down from the top left side of the screen.

There are two ways to check for the latest software update, first visit Settings > System & Updates > then head to Software Updates > and CHECK FOR UPDATES. From there, you can follow the on-screen instructions and request the latest version of the software. On the other hand, you can use the My Huawei app to get the latest firmware version, open the app, then tap Update.
