When it comes to security updates, Samsung has always been ahead of the curve this year. In fact, the Korean OEM has already started updating one of its mid-range A-series smartphones with the July 2022 security patches just at the end of June. The Galaxy A32 is starting to receive a new software update with the July 2022 security patch set.

According to a recent post on the Samsung Korea community forums, the company has started to seed an update for the Galaxy A32 Korean 4G edition (model number SM-A325N) with software version A325NKSU1BVF2. The size of the incremental update package is almost 1 GB and it is currently rolling out only in South Korea.

In addition to increasing the Android security patch level, the new version also comes with a number of system stability improvements. There is no change in the underlying version of the bootloader, therefore experienced users always have the option of reverting to an older firmware revision if needed.

As always, Samsung is pushing the update in batches. Even if you live in South Korea or own the Korean Galaxy A32, you might have to wait a few days for the OTA notification to appear on your device. However, if you’re no stranger to flashing on PC, you can skip the queue. To do this, grab the latest version directly from the company’s Firmware Update Server (FUS) and manually flash it to your Galaxy device.

If you’re using the 5G edition of the Galaxy A32, you’re out of luck. The aforementioned construction is not compatible with the Galaxy A32 5G, and therefore cross-flashing is strictly prohibited.
