Microsoft on June 24 unveiling a new Windows system


Microsoft (MSFT) – Get the Microsoft Corporation report will unveil a new version of Windows’ iconic software on June 24, according to an invitation sent to reporters.

General Manager Satya Nadella provided some background on the new product at Microsoft’s Build 2021 event last week.

“Soon, we’ll be sharing one of the most important Windows updates of the past decade to unlock greater economic opportunities for developers and creators,” he said according to The Verve.

“I’ve been hosting it myself for several months and I’m extremely excited about the next generation of Windows.”

Additionally, “Our promise is: Today we will create more opportunities for every Windows developer and welcome all creators who seek the most innovative new open platform to build, distribute and monetize apps,” said he declared.

The new software includes design changes, additional features for creators and developers on the Windows App Store, and easier techniques for users to connect with communities, reports Bloomberg.

Bloomberg also reports that the new software will likely be available for wide use this fall.

Microsoft stock at last check was $246.21, down 0.5%. The stock hit a 52-week high above $263 on April 27.

In other Microsoft news, Bret Kenwell of explained in an article last week how the stock can hit a record high. “Microsoft is making slow but steady progress,” he said.

In April, Microsoft released quarterly results that beat expectations for a ninth consecutive quarter.
