Pricol announced the appointment of Priyadarsi Bastia as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in place of PKrishnamoorthy who has tendered his resignation.
The company in a regulatory filing advised that Bastia, 44, has an overall experience of 22 years in the areas of corporate finance, accounting, taxation, treasury, establishment of product costs, budgeting, pricing, process controls and improvements, cost optimization, investment appraisals, among others. He is a Chartered Accountant and currently works as a Managing Director (Finance) in the company. Previously, he was associated with Murugappa Group, KPMG and Sastri & Shah.
Pricol, based in Coimbatore, is a supplier of diversified automotive components such as instrument clusters, sensors and switches, pumps and mechanical products, telematics solutions and wiper systems, among others.
Pricol, had entered into a strategic technology partnership with Sibros in February to develop in-depth connected vehicle solutions for the Indian and ASEAN markets. “Sibros’ cloud-based platform, combined with Pricol’s next-generation products, will enable features such as OTA software and firmware updates, vehicle data insights for analysis, diagnostics and troubleshooting for OEMs to get the most out of connected solutions,” the company said in an investor presentation. The company’s total revenue stood at Rs 1483.37 crore during FY22 compared to Rs 1397.81 crore during FY21.
