Samsung Galaxy A23 starts receiving May 2022 security update

Samsung released the May 2022 security update for Galaxy A23 in select European countries. Other markets including Africa, Asia, and the Americas may get the new security update in the coming days.

Latest software update for Galaxy A23 comes with firmware version A235FXXU1AVE4. The update is rolling out in Germany and Russia. The May 2022 security patch fixes dozens of privacy and security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy devices. The update also fixes some bugs and improves the stability of the phone.

If you are a Galaxy A23 user in Germany or Russia, you can now download and install the latest software update by going to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A23 three months ago alongside the Galaxy A13. The mid-range smartphone runs One UI 4 based on Android 12 out of the box. It will receive at least two more Android operating system updates.
