Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 receives fourth beta update One UI Watch 4.5


Last month, Samsung announced the One UI Watch 4.5 beta program for the Galaxy Watch 4 series. Since then, the company has released several beta updates to its latest smartwatches. Yesterday, the South Korean firm released the fourth beta version of One UI Watch 4.5 on the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.

The the latest update is coming with the end of the firmware version ZVG3 and brings various bug fixes and performance improvements. It fixes the bug that forced the permission popup to close when the current location was added to the weather tile. It also fixes incompatible connection status in Galaxy Wearable app and Bluetooth settings. The update also fixed the Application Not Responding error when checking the Samsung Health screen while exercising.

Samsung also fixed issues with time shaking in stopwatch, sleep mode, watch faces, system UI crashing, and Messages app. The company says the new update should also improve the Galaxy Watch 4’s battery life compared to previous One UI Watch 4.5 betas.

To install the new update, you also need to update the Galaxy Watch plugin to the latest version. Open the Galaxy Wearable app, choose the Galaxy Watch 4, then go to Settings » Watch software update then press Download and install.

With One UI Watch 4.5, Samsung introduced Wear OS 3.5, better watch face customizations, better multi-SIM controls, and many new accessibility features.
