Small Business 5SRC Wins $266 Million Contract to Help Secure MDA Weapons Systems


Huntsville, Alabama-based small firm Five Stones Research Corp. has won a five-year, $266.4 million contract to help the Missile Defense Agency identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks to systems of weapons.

5SRC will further support the Department of Defense in its efforts to integrate cybersecurity data into system architecture, secure cloud-based computing assets and evaluate proposed computing platforms, the Pentagon said Monday.

Price also asks 5SRC to help update the DOD Computer network defense service provider framework.

MDA has received seven proposals for the cost-plus-fixed-cost contract through the website and is committing $2.4 million in research, development, test, and evaluation funds for fiscal year 2022 at time of award. .

Work locations include Fort Belvoir in Virginia, Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado and Fort Greely in Alaska.

5SRC is a small, disadvantaged, woman-owned, Native American-owned business that provides information management, engineering, and program management services to the government sector.
