Strangled Woman, Wifi Router Caught in Jefferson County | WTAJ

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Jefferson County man is behind bars after he allegedly strangled a woman and told her he wished he could kill her Wednesday night.

Police were called to a house in Fisher Road in Eldred Township at around 11pm on April 27 to find Jason Exley, 37, had already left the house. The victim told police she was lying in bed with her child when Exley entered the room and grabbed her by the neck and dragged her through the house and up the stairs to the basement -floor.

She told police that Exley then grabbed her by the neck even harder and pulled her to the basement where she nearly passed out multiple times. Exley then pushed her against a concrete pillar and said “I wish I could kill you now”, before biting her on the cheek and neck.

Exley then took all cell phones and the WiFi router from the house to prevent the woman from contacting anyone.
